Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard
ProRev pads meet all requirements of FMVSS 121, the federal standard governing air brake systems on commercial vehicles in the United States. Required for all vehicles over 10,000 lbs GVWR.
ECE R90
United Nations Economic Commission for Europe
ECE R90 certification confirms that ProRev replacement pads deliver friction performance equivalent to the original equipment specification. Required for vehicles sold in EU member states.
Better Brake Law
California & Washington State
ProRev CF23 friction material contains zero copper — fully compliant with the California and Washington Better Brake Laws that restrict copper content in brake friction materials to protect waterways.
SAE J2975
Society of Automotive Engineers
ProRev pads are tested and certified to SAE J2975, the industry standard for friction material performance testing for commercial vehicles.
Zero Copper — Environmental Compliance
Copper in brake friction material washes into waterways during rain events, where it is toxic to salmon and other aquatic life. California and Washington have enacted the Better Brake Law to phase out copper in brake pads. ProRev CF23 contains zero copper — making it compliant today in all current and anticipated future regulations.
